Your past does not decide your future. So don't let your past silence your heart from seeking guidance.
MSA's Soul Searching Event will be this week, on Thursday, March 15th from 5:30-8:00 in the Friday Building Room 137
We have for this event, Imam John 'Yahya' Ederer who is the Imam at the Muslim Community Center of Charlotte for our general event where everyone is welcome, and for our private women's session, we have Sister Ruba Nashbat who graduated with her Bachelor's in Islamic Studies and Shariah. Private ladies session: Friday, March 16th from 6:00-7:00 in Student Union Room 265
This event is dedicated to all those that have had questions or situations they want to seek guidance in. There are many challenges we face in our personal lives and as college students - many of those challenges are never addressed. Sometimes, we are too afraid to seek help because we are afraid of judgement. Other times, we feel there is no one we can talk to who may relate.
We are here to acknowledge that not one of us is perfect, and each of us face our own share of struggles.
For this event, MSA simply requests that all who attend come with respect and with the intention to seek knowledge. All questions are anonymous and welcome. During the event, we will be give out slips of paper that people can anonymously ask questions on.
Don't miss this opportunity - it may change your life.
Dinner will be provided for this event! Everyone is welcome to attend, student or not.Your past does not decide your future. So don't let your past silence your heart from seeking guidance.
Send us your name & phone number & you will be added to the MSA Brothers/Sisters WhatsApp Groups!
